We're an innovative education provider running coding retreats in Bali. Think Coding Bootcamp + all-inclusive retreat + adventure tour all mashed together! We take students, entrepreneurs, marketers and creatives away from the stress of day to day life, pop them down in a luxury pool villa, keep them nimble and relaxed with in-house yoga and keep their stomachs happy with our in-house chef. Then we teach them in-demand digital skills to help them accelerate their careers. After a big day of coding, our 'extracurriculars' include paddle-boarding, surfing, parasailing, banana boating and sipping cocktails and watching the sunset.
Then we wake up and do it all again. It's a hard life.
We are a small but ever growing team which means we can be agile and fast paced when it comes to running the Institute of Code (IOC), making for a holistic experience. Here, you will cover more than just that 'one report' while you sit inside a cubicle! In addition to this, our founders, Tina & Emilio are always willing to share their insights in running a start-up.

Help us write engaging content that attracts our target audience.
Help managing social media channels & campaigns, and report on social performance.
Working with our lead marketer to help craft and analyse email campaigns.
Ensuring a consistent voice across every touchpoint of the brand.
Sit in on strategic meetings that define the future direction of IOC.
Work with our lead salesman to help refine the sales funnel
Researching and applying a Pinterest strategy
Identifying key influencers building our brand ambassador program
We're looking for someone with a work-hard, play-hard mentality to work alongside our team to get practical experience in marketing.
Ideally, we are looking for candidates that are recent graduates or final year students who have studied media, communications, marketing or journalism.
While skills are always handy, this is an internship so we don't expect you to know it all before you arrive. We'll be helping to train you. Basically, if you're driven and thirsty to learn and get your hands dirty, then you're perfect!

You'll be living with our team in Bali, so be prepared for a completely immersive experience. You'll live and breathe IOC!
Having said that, there's plenty of downtime, with lots to see and do. Bali has everything from tranquil, hidden beaches to pumping bars.
The best thing is you'll get to meet students and staff from all around the world - many of whom become fast friends for life.
We believe that hard work and talent should not go unrewarded, so our internship will include the following:
Not included: Return airfares to Bali, meals & drinks outside the villa, any alcoholic drinks and travel insurance (mandatory).
This will be your office during the internship. This is the campus for our 10-day coding retreats in Bali, where our students will learn to build responsive websites (like this one) using HTML, CSS & jQuery. It's also where our team get's to work every day. Not a bad view for an office, right?
